Appleton Man Bound Over For Trial On FDL County Vehicular Homicide Charges

A 21-year-old Appleton man facing charges for allegedly driving drunk during a rollover accident in Fond du Lac County that killed two passengers and injured two others has been bound over for trial. Samuel Coppersmith was in court Friday morning for a preliminary hearing. During the July 19th accident on Interstate 41, 49-year-old Nana Yaw Yeboah and 22-year-old Malik Bridges died at the scene. Nineteen-year-old Tiarah Stewart, 26-year-old Deandre Love, and Coppersmith were taken to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah following the accident. An arraignment will be scheduled. Coppersmith remains in the Fond du Lac County Jail on a $150,000 cash bond.
