Good Samaritans Rescue Woman And Child From The Wolf River

7 August 2020 News

Two good Samaritans saved a woman and a child that were trapped inside a vehicle that went off Waupaca County Highway X at Broadway Street into the Wolf River Thursday afternoon. Sheriff’s officials say the vehicle was heading east when it left the road. The good Samaritans broke a window to get the woman and child out of the vehicle. The woman and child were taken to ThedaCare in New London as a precautionary measure. The driver suffered minor injuries, but the child appeared to be uninjured. The incident was reported just before 4 pm.
