Fatal Accident In Waushara County

A 52-year old man was killed in a one-vehicle accident on State Highway 22 north of Akron Drive in Waushara County’s Town of Rose early Friday morning. Sheriff Wally Zuehlke says David Winters was the lone occupant of the vehicle. Winters’ vehicle was heading north when it went off State Highway 22 and rolled over. He was taken to Wild Rose Hospital where life saving measures were attempted but did not succeed. Winters’ 52nd birthday was on Thursday. The 911 call reporting the accident was received at 4:41 Friday morning.
