Another record day for the number of COVID-19 test results returned Wednesday in Wisconsin with 16,451 results. Of those 2.94 percent or 483 came back positive bringing the total number of cases since the outbreak began in the state to 19,400 tests. Nine more deaths were also reported bringing that toll to 616. Six of those deaths were in Milwaukee County and one each in Dodge, Ozaukee, and Waukesha County.

Dodge County saw a huge spike in cases when mass testing numbers from Waupun Correctional were added into its totals with 157 new cases and one additional death Dodge County’s totals are 383 COVID-19 cases and 3 deaths. Winnebago County reported 14 new cases and now has 284 with 7 deaths. Fond du Lac County had 3 more and now has 223 cases and 5 deaths. Green Lake County has 2 new cases and now has 22. Marquette County also has 2 new cases bringing its totals to 6 cases and 1 death.  Waupaca County held steady with 45 cases and 1 death and Waushara County has 2 new cases bringing its total to 10 cases.
