4 June 2020 News
Ripon College student Luke Dretske is hoping to take what’s he’s learned about politics and finance at the school and apply it in the State Assembly. The 21-year-old Berlin man is one of four candidates, three of them Republicans like himself, running for the 41st State Assembly seat. He’s a conservative and strong supporter of doing what is right for families. “I want to defend the Constitution. I want to help conserve the environment, but also boost our economy at the same time so I don’t want to put job-killing regulations on the environment and also I want to promote some family opportunities in small businesses because ultimately in this area family is the biggest thing how can we keep families here?” As for his young age he believes he can solve the problems in front of us. He also supports term limits. To learn more about Luke Dretske visit his website lukedretzke.com.
