Wisconsin reported 599 new COVID-19 cases and 22 more deaths Wednesday both record numbers, but it also had 10,330 test results come back which is a new high in one-day reporting for the state. The state’s Department of Health Services has now reported 16,462 cases and 539 deaths. The percentage of test results that came back positive for the pandemic Wednesday was 5.8 percent.
Winnebago County reported 8 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday for a total of 199, but also saw two more deaths reported for a total of 3 deaths. Fond du Lac County had 3 news cases and now has recorded 185 with 5 deaths. Dodge County has 4 new cases for a total of 166 with one death, Marquette County remains at 3 cases with one death. Waupaca County added one new case for a total of 27 cases with one death, and Waushara County has 8 cases.
