The state’s Department of Health Services Thursday reported a record number 9,410 test results were returned with 5 percent testing positive for COVID-19. The 472 new cases gives Wisconsin 13,885 cases since the outbreak began. The state also reported six new deaths bringing that total to 487. Thirty-nine of the state’s 72 counties saw an increase Thursday in confirmed coronavirus cases or deaths due to the pandemic.
Fond du Lac County reported one new death due to COVID-19 Thursday bringing that toll for the County to four with 152 cases. Winnebago County reported seven new cases for a total of 141 with one death. Dodge County had nine new cases bringing its total to 121 with one death. Green Lake County had a new case for 12 total cases, Marquette County held steady with 3 cases and one death. Waupaca County also held firm with 19 cases and one death, and the number of cases in Waushara County remained at 7.
