State health officials Tuesday reported 198 new COVID-19 cases or about 5 percent of the 3,933 test results that came back. It’s the first time in a little over a week that fewer than 4,000 test results came back in a day. Eight more deaths were also reported bringing that toll to 467. The total number of cases since the outbreak began is 12,885 with 55 percent of those now recovered.
Fond du Lac County has reported 145 cases with 3 deaths. Winnebago County is up to 126 cases with one death. Dodge County has 109 cases and 1 death, Green Lake County has 11, Marquette County 3 with 1 death. Waupaca County has two new cases and is up to 19 cases with 1 death and Waushara County’s total remains at 7.
