Wisconsin now has more than 6,000 COVID-19 cases. The Department of Health Services Monday reported 170 new cases for a total of 6,081 with 5 more deaths for a total of 281. There have also been 1,415 hospitalizations and 61,311 patients have tested negative for the new coronavirus.
Governor Evers also signed an order Monday loosening restrictions on the Safer at Home order allowing for the drop off of animals and goods. That will allow dog groomers to open, small engine and repair shops, and upholstery businesses. It also allows for the rentals of boats, golf carts, kayaks, and ATVs. Automatic and self-service car washes can also operate. The new stipulation goes into effect Wednesday morning.
Breaking down COVID-19 numbers in area counties Fond du Lac County now has 70 cases with 3 deaths. Dodge County has reported 30 cases and one death, Marquette County 3 cases and one death, Waupaca County 7 cases and one death, Waushara County 2 cases, and Winnebago County 48 cases with one death.
