COVID 19 Preventative Measures

Governor Tony Evers Friday mandated the closing of all public and private schools starting Wednesday. Some districts have chosen to close earlier. According to the Governor’s Office the anticipated reopening is April 6th.  The Oshkosh Area School District will be closed Monday and until further notice. The Green Lake School District is also closed Monday.

All Fond du Lac County Senior Dining sites are closing effective tomorrow until further notice. In Ripon that includes the sites at Willowbrook and Russell Manor.

The Ripon Public Library has suspended its programming in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak. The Library will remain open, but is suspending programming. Patrons who are sick are being asked to stay home. They are also encouraging the use of the library through its website and are limiting the use of the toy library asking people to check out the toys and take them home rather than use them in the library.

Officials with the Fox Valley Workforce Development Board have announced a couple of job center closings due to the pandemic. The Waupaca and Wautoma Job Centers, both located inside campuses of Fox Valley Technical College are closed until March 30th. Also the Berlin Job Fair at the Berlin High School on May 13th and the Oshkosh Job Fair at Menomonee Nation Arena on May 19th have been postponed.
