Body Identified As That Of Missing Mayville Man

The body found off State Highway 67 in the Village of Kekoskee Monday evening has been identified as 77-year-old John Bachhuber of Mayville. He had been missing since mid-February and the state issued a Silver Alert for him. Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says they launched a death investigation after the discovery of the body. The Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office was able to identify the body as that of Bachhuber. They also determined he died of hypothermia due to exposure from the cold.
