9 February 2020 News

MADISON- This past Wednesday, Senator Dan Feyen (R-Fond du Lac) received the “All In” Award from the Fond du Lac County Law Enforcement Association.

“I am honored and humbled by receiving this award,” said Senator Feyen. “I am excited to continue my work with both Law Enforcement and community members to make Wisconsin a safe and vibrant place to live, work, and raise a family.”

The “All In” award is given annually, in memory of Fond du Lac County Deputy District Attorney Dennis Krueger, to individuals for their distinguished service to the Fond du Lac County District Attorney’s Office. Dennis Krueger displayed a strong passion for justice while serving his community and worked tirelessly to create a safer Fond du Lac County and State of Wisconsin.

“I’m proud to present this year’s award to Senator Dan Feyen for his work in the legislature that mirrors many of the issues Dennis was passionate about,” said Fond du Lac District Attorney Eric Toney. “Senator Feyen has been an important ally, a champion of CH 980 violent sex offender legislation, a statute of limitation proposal in response to a cold case homicide, additional prosecutor positions in Fond du Lac County and supporting pay progression for Assistant District Attorneys, which is critical to retaining experienced prosecutors to ensure victims and our community are protected. I thank Senator Feyen and our legislators for their support and work on these issues.”

Senator Feyen received the award at the Fond du Lac County Law Enforcement Association’s annual executive banquet which recognizes the exemplary work of deputies, troopers, officers, and citizens from around Fond du Lac County.

This is the second Dennis R. Krueger “All In” award, last year’s recipient was former Fond du Lac County District Attorney Thomas Storm.
