Fatal Fire Victims In Oconto Identified

Police in Oconto have identified the mother and three children killed in a house fire last Friday. Thirty-five-year-old Katherine DeCoursin, and her children; 15-year-old Jeri Schroeder, 13-year-old Dalton Schroeder, and 11-year-old Nicholas DeCoursin Jr. and a pet were found dead in the home in the 900 block of Fabry Street. The state fire marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the fire. A benefit will be held for the family in March. Katherine’s husband was out of town for work at the time of the fire.
