The Packers return to the practice field today as they get ready for Sunday’s NFC Championship game in San Francisco against the 49ers. The 49ers demolished the Packers, 37-8, in Week 12 in San Francisco. However, the Green Bay Packers are no longer the same team and have won six games in a row. Coach Matt LaFleur and his staff are implementing their game plan and he says suggestions are welcome from the players as well. Left tackle David Bakhtiari says they have four quarters to give it their all to make the Super Bowl. Sunday’s game starts at 5:40 with the pregame beginning at 3:00 and can be heard on 102.3, The Bug.

Giannis Antetokounmpo needed only 22 minutes on the court to do plenty of damage, scoring 37 points and leading the Milwaukee Bucks to a 128-102 rout of the New York Knicks on Tuesday night. Antetokounmpo did not play in the fourth quarter after the Bucks built a 32-point lead entering the final period on the way to sweeping the three-game season series with the Knicks. Khris Middleton added 17 points and Ersan Ilyasova had 14 points and seven rebounds for Milwaukee, which led by as many as 35 and improved its record to an NBA-best 36-6. Julius Randle had 25 points and 15 rebounds to pace the Knicks (11-30), and rookie R.J. Barrett added 22 points. Bobby Portis had 20 off the bench. Green Bay Packers stars Za’Darius Smith and Aaron Jones received huge ovations when they were introduced during a timeout late in the third quarter.

Brad Davison hit a 3-pointer with 11 seconds left after getting a steal and Wisconsin upset No. 17 Maryland 56-54 on Tuesday night to pick up their third straight victory against a ranked opponent. Davison finished with 14 points and Nate Reuvers and Micah Potter added 17 and 14 to lead the Badgers (11-6, 4-2 Big Ten), who now have beaten then-No.. 5 Ohio State and then-No. 20 Penn State. Jalen Smith scored 18 and Anthony Cowan Jr. had 16 for the Terrapins (13-4, 3-3) who have now lost two straight after winning three and a row. Maryland suffered an 18-point defeat Friday at Iowa. Wisconsin now leads the all-time series with Maryland 10-6, including a 5-1 mark against the Terrapins at home. The Badgers play at number 15 Michigan State on Friday.
