The Packers are off today before preparing tomorrow for the NFC Championship Game Sunday in San Francisco. The 49ers demolished the Packers, 37-8, in Week 12 at home. However, the Packers are no longer the same team and have won six straight after beating Seattle 28-23 at home Sunday. Coach Matt LaFleur said Monday that the 49ers are a great team but he needs and expects his team to play better this time around. He also said he wants to keep things as normal as possible so the players can prepare properly. Center Corey Linsley said the team has to stay focused.

In the college football National Championship Game last night, number one ranked LSU beat number three Clemson 42-25. After a slow start, Joe Burrow rallied his team and threw five touchdown passes and ran for another to complete an undefeated season. Burrow said a college football record with 60 touchdown passes in a season. Clemson suffered its first loss in two years.

In the NBA tonight, the Bucks host the New York Knicks. Milwaukee has the best record in the league at 35-6 and leads the Celtics by 6 ½ games and the Heat by seven in the Eastern Conference.

In men’s Big Ten basketball action tonight, Wisconsin hosts #17 Maryland. The Badgers are 10-6 while Maryland is 13-3.
