Large Shed Fire In The Town Of Clayton

Six fire departments battled a large shed fire in the Winnebago County’s Town of Clayton Monday night. Clayton Fire and Rescue officials say the shed on County Trunk II was fully involved with smoke and flames showing when they arrived. The fire was contained to the shed, which sustained heavy smoke and fire damage. Over 20,000 gallons of water was used to extinguish the blaze. No one was injured during the effort. Thirty-seven firefighters were involved in putting out the fire. The cause of the fire hasn’t been determined. In addition to Clayton Fire and Rescue fire departments from Fox Crossing, Town of Neenah, Vinland, Winneconne-Poygan, and the Town of Oshkosh responded to the scene. The time of the fire call was 7:35 pm.
