Summer Reading Program 2024

June 10 - July 31

Read this summer to earn rewards and entries into great prize drawings! Register on the Beanstack Tracker app or on the Beanstack website, or pick up paper reading cards at the library. Summer Reading Challenges are available for all ages: children, teens, and adults!

Adventure of the Lost Treasure

Thursday, June 13 at 1 pm

In this interactive STEM show presented by Science Heroes, the audience will help our performers act out a treasure-hunting jungle adventure as they use storytelling to explore the science of air pressure, energy transfer, chemical changes and more! This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. *Registration is required.*

Outdoor Explorers Survival Skills

Wednesday, June 19 at 4 pm

Outdoor Location To Be Determined

Join self-taught survivalist, Woodsy Dude, as he teaches youth how to build a primitive survival shelter, how to signal for rescue, and how to catch food! Participants will also look at wild resources such as stone tools and bones. For ages 5-9. *Registration is required. Please call the library at 920-361-5420 to sign up.*

Two Opportunities to Read with Ruth!

Thursday, June 13 AND Friday, June 28

10-11 am

Ruth the Therapy Dog will be at the library to help children work on their reading aloud skills on Thursday, June 13 and Friday, June 28 from 10-11 am. Drop in to read her a story! No registration necessary.
