Singer-Songwriter Kyshona debuts at Thrasher Opera House
Green Lake, Wis. (April 10, 2023) - Singer/Songwriter Kyshona will perform at Thrasher Opera House in Green Lake, Wisconsin, on Saturday, April 29, at 7:30 p.m. This will be her first performance on the stage of Thrasher.
Kyshona Armstrong, who performs under the stage name Kyshona, is an American singer-songwriter known for her soulful voice and socially conscious lyrics. Originally from South Carolina, Kyshona began her career as a music therapist before deciding to pursue music full-time. Her music draws from various genres, including soul, blues, and folk, and often explores love, loss, and social justice themes. One of Kyshona's most notable accomplishments is her work as a social activist. She has used her music as a platform to advocate for racial justice. She has been involved in various community initiatives, including a program that provides music therapy to incarcerated individuals. Kyshona's powerful voice and thought-provoking lyrics have earned her a dedicated following, and she has released several albums, including "The Ride" and "Listen," in recent years. With her passion for music and social justice, Kyshona has become a rising star in the music industry and a powerful voice for positive change.
Kyshona’s is supported in part by a grant from the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.
