June 1st through August 31st. The concerts run from 7:00 to 10:00 pm and take place at The Village Green located at the corner of Watson and Seward Street in downtown Ripon.
For the 26th consecutive summer, the streets of downtown Ripon will be filled with the sound of music when the Ripon Summer Concert Series returns. This year's series includes a greater variety of music than ever before. Organized by Ripon Main Street, Inc., the free outdoor concer series will begin on Thursday, May 31st with performances by the RMS and RHS Jazz Bands. The entertainment continues on Friday, June 1st with Wisconsin’s premier 80s rock cover band Cherry Pie.
The series features a diverse group of entertainers encompassing a wide range of musical styles. Several community favorites are returning to the lineup including Cherry Pie, Road Trip, Star Six Nine and Vic Ferrari. New groups including FBI & the Untouchable Horns, Incendio and Keith Anderson. We believe you will find the mixture of new bands and old favorites very appealing.
The series typically takes place on Friday evenings, June through August, but occasionally bonus concerts are added or events rescheduled due to weather issues. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. NO CARRY-INs are allowed in the park because beverage sales help cover entertainment expenses. Free music isn’t really free.
