Ripon, WI- Ripon Public Library is excited to announce its October lineup of events and offerings for all ages! Thanks to the Friends of the Library, and other generous donors, programming is always free.
FRI OCT 13 | DROP-IN ALL DAY | FALL CRAFTS | ALL AGES
On this school recess day, everyone is invited to drop-in and enjoy a paper pumpkin craft and Halloween-themed scratch masks.
SUN OCT 15 @ 4-6 PM | TEEN PROGRAM | AGES 11-17 | NERF CHALLENGE
How good is your aim? Show off your talent at the Nerf Battle @ Your Library!! Nerf blasters and darts provided. Waivers must be signed by parents and brought to the event on Sunday, October 15. Forms will be your ticket into the event.
WED OCT 18 @ 6-8 PM |GAME NIGHT | AGES 16+
Calling all strategists, team players, and those who like to test their luck—enjoy an evening of tabletop board games! Staff will be on hand to teach and guide players through a variety of entertaining and easy-to-learn games with no experience necessary.
October features Betrayal at House on the Hill. Six friends wander in to explore a haunted house… but will any of them make it out alive? Mysterium and more spooky fun will also be available!
Can’t make it this time around? This recurring event is held in the Silver Creek Room on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Leftover CDs and DVDs get repurposed into gorgeous sparkly mobiles or suncatchers. Youth require adult supervision.

Sold on Monday by Kristina McMorris. Enjoy a lively & friendly discussion with other readers. Books will be available for check out after the Monday, September 25th meeting.

Libby is YOUR FREE digital library for borrowing electronic books, audiobooks, & magazines. Bring your device (smart phone, tablet, kindle, laptop) and library card for hands-on instruction. Learn how easy it is to enjoy this great resource! Class repeats on Tuesday, November 21.

Youth Services Librarian Linda DeCramer performs a variety of barely scary interactive stories and sing-along-songs the whole family can enjoy! A pizza & ice cream party follows! Slightly spooky costumes are encouraged for all ages.

Come checkout a Family Pass providing free entrance to the Children's Museum of Fond du Lac and Sheboygan’s Above & Beyond Children's Museum. The mission of these amazing organizations is to support childhood development utilizing innovative exhibits and programs that engage children, their caregivers, and the community in lifelong learning through play.
PLAY IN THE ROMPER ROOM
Physical activity and human connections are important for healthy, happy human beings, and the Romper Room facilitates both! Focusing on active play, the room features trikes, foot-to-floor vehicles, a balance bike, tunnels, tumbling mats, balance beams, and more. The Romper Room is most engaging for ages 2-6 years, though older kids are welcome. The Romper Room is always open during regular library hours. Drop-ins are welcome.
DROP-IN BOREDOM BUSTERS
Enjoy coloring and activity sheets, board games, and toys every day in the children’s department.
