Join us as we make history breaking ground on the Oshkosh Arena, the first step in bringing the new Oshkosh Sawdust District to life.  Event details:

Groundbreaking Ceremony 3-4 pm

Greg Pierce, CIO of Windward Wealth Strategies and founder of Fox Valley Professional Basketball, will be the event’s master of ceremony. Fox Valley Professional Basketball is overseeing the newly incorporated Oshkosh Arena during this initial transition. Also expected to speak at the event are:

  • Steve Brandes, Milwaukee Bucks D-League Team® President
  • Jason White, Greater Oskosh Economic Development Corp.
  • Mark Rohloff, Oshkosh City Manager

Additional invited guests include Governor Scott Walker and numerous community and business leaders. More of the details to be shared at the press conference will be made available on March 29.

About the Oshkosh Arena

This state-of-the-art facility will provide both home-court advantage and serve as a practice facility for the new Milwaukee Bucks D-League® team – to be renamed the G-League due to Gatorade’s® sponsorship. Scheduled to open in Fall 2017, the newly developed building will feature a 3,500-seat arena with the latest technology, club-level VIP seating, multiple food and concessions areas, retail space and other entertainment amenities that will complete the basketball experience. The Oshkosh Arena will be available for other sporting and entertainment events when not in use by the team.
