March is National Reading Month! The Caramel Crisp Bookstore staff is excited to be partnering with the Winnebago Area Literacy Council in a project to help reading learners. Beginning March 20th and through the end of March, the Bookstore in Caramel Crisp will be a collection point for new and gently used books, which will then be donated to the Literacy Council for use with their reading learners. Adult Fiction, Adult Non-fiction and Children’s Books may all be donated. If your book shelves are feeling a bit crowded these days, this is a chance to do a little spring cleaning and help out your neighbors in the process! Out of respect for the families we will be helping, please make sure that the donated books are clean and in good condition. Please, no encyclopedias, outdated reference books, Reader’s Digest Condensed Books or magazines. Please bring donated materials during Bookstore hours only – Monday through Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturday & Sunday 10 am to 4 pm. Bring items directly to the Bookstore counter – our lovely cafe workers will be very busy serving cafe customers, so we would like to make sure this project is not a burden for them!Let’s make March a great month for Readers!
