The 15th Annual and Final Kim Pope Memorial Ride for Kids with Brain Cancer will be held on May 4th. It is a 100-mile ride across Wisconsin in honor of Kim Pope, a woman who, in 2004, lost her battle with brain cancer. The ride, created in Pope's memory, is a fundraiser for the fight against brain cancer and for local children fighting it themselves.
Registration for the ride will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on the day. Riders will meet at The Crossings Bar & Grill at Highway 54 and 110 east of Waupaca. The cost is $25 per person or $35 per couple. All vehicles are welcome. There will also be door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and a silent auction, with an after party following the ride at River Rail Bar in Shiocton.
