Community Foundation Visionary Grants Applications Open September 1
Stevens Point, Wisconsin (August 21, 2024) – The Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin (Community Foundation) will be accepting grant applications from September 1 to October 31, 2024.
We are excited to offer multi-year Visionary Grants aimed at launching new programs, adopting transformative operational structures, or expanding and enhancing existing services. The goal of multi-year committed funding is that at the end of the grant’s lifecycle, the changes will be embedded into the organization’s own budget and operations.
Thanks to the generosity of individuals throughout Portage and Waushara counties, the Community Foundation will distribute up to $15,000 per grant. This grant cycle is open to programs and projects in Portage and Waushara counties that align with our values and five mission areas. Visionary Grants will award up to 10 projects in 2024 for Portage County and up to 3 projects for Waushara County.
Eligible organizations include nonprofit 501c3 agencies that are state and federal tax exempt and in good standing with the IRS. The Community Foundation will consider applications from public, charter, parochial schools, or government entities. Also eligible are established community groups wishing to complete a community project for the benefit of the general public of Portage or Waushara County.
