| Event Details: | Short synopsis: This is a deeply personal film that surveys 30 years of filming children all over the world and measures the changes that have occurred for better or worse in children's human rights.
Butterfly, Butterfly moves around the globe examining child labor in American agriculture, tobacco, coffee, cocoa. It examines the plight of street children, incarcerating children, how we address the massive inequality that consigns children to forced labor or contributes to 13.7 million children who are fleeing for their lives. Butterfly, Butterfly looks at how we are cultivating a new generation of youth activists and leaders and it ultimately I hope is a film with an optimistic message. |
