Chase away cabin fever blues with Black Hawk Folk Society’s Songwriters in the Round concert featuring Katie Dahl, Hope Dunbar, and Emily White Saturday, March 10 at the Mountain View Community Center, N3137 21st Lane. This is located at the intersection of 21st Lane with Highway 152, near Mt. Morris and Wautoma.
The musicians take the stage at 7:00 p.m. The Mt. Morris stop is one of a seven-city tour by these three singer-songwriters from the Midwest. The popular musicians have loyal fan bases and have earned numerous awards and honors while performing solo. Now Dahl, Dunbar, and White have joined their talents for an “intimate and in-the round format.” You can hear samples of their music and learn more about the performers at these websites:  http://www.katiedahlmusic.com/music/ ; http://www.hopedunbarmusic.com/music/ ; and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uz2FYNhEQfM.
The evening will begin with a potluck supper at 6, open to all.  General admission tickets will sold at the door.  Mountain View Community Center is handicap accessible, with free and on-site parking. The Black Hawk Folk Society is a non-profit volunteer-driven group bringing quality music to central Wisconsin. For more information about this Second Saturday concert or to learn how to become a sponsor or how you can support Black Hawk in other ways, please visit https://blackhawkfolk.org, call 920-295-2030, or visit www.facebook.com/BlackHawkFolk.
