Regular Programs

Storytime:

Every Wednesday at 10 am

Tiny Tots: Stories and Songs

First Friday of each month at 10 am

For babies and toddlers

Wednesday Evening Book Club:

Meets the third Wednesday of the month at 6 pm

Mystery Mondays Book Club:

Meets the last Monday of the month at 2 pm

Stitching Together Group:

Knitting/crocheting/needlework group that meets the last Tuesday of the month at 2 pm

Free Yoga at the Library

Yoga by Bridget

November 2 at 9 am AND

November 9 at 9 am

Berlin Public Library and Grizzly Fitness are collaborating to make Yoga by Bridget a FREE class this month! Bring your yoga mat and join us on Saturday mornings on November 2nd and 9th at 2 am at the library. No registration is necessary

Escape Room

Saturday, November 2

11 am - 5 pm

 

The Berlin High School Library Media Center and the Berlin Public Library are teaming up to bring you The Lightning Thief Escape Room at the Berlin Public Library, a Percy Jackson-themed challenge meant to get you hyped for the upcoming Berlin High School musical The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical (Nov 14-16).

Call the library at 920-361-5420 to sign your team up for a time slot on November 2. Teams of up to 6 are permitted.

Antique Appraisals by Mark Moran

Saturday, December 7

10 am - 1 pm

 

Author and antiques expert Mark Moran will be offering antique appraisals at the Berlin Public Library for $15 per item. Part of the proceeds will go to benefit the Friends of the Library and the Berlin Area Historical Society. *Pre-registration at the Berlin Public Library is required and a cash or check payment is required at the time of registration.*

Adult Programs

Learn to Play: Wingspan

Tuesday, November 12 at 5 pm

It’s International Games Month! Celebrate by learning a new board game! Wingspan is a card-driven, engine-building board game in which players seek to discover and attract the best birds to their networks of wildlife preserves. This event is for Wingspan beginners. *Spots are limited. Registration is required. Call 920-361-5420 to sign up.*

Speed Puzzling Competition: 300-Piece Edition

Tuesday, November 19 at 5:30 pm

Race against other teams to complete a 300-piece puzzle in 90 minutes. A prize will be awarded to the team that completes their puzzle first! *Team captains must register their teams of up to 3 players by November 15.*

Dungeons & Dragons

Friday, November 22 at 6 pm

Come play a campaign of Dungeons & Dragons at the library. Bring your own level 3 character to join in the adventure (premade characters may be provided upon request). Dice will be available for all to use. *Registration is required.*

Youth Programs

LEGO Challenge Mondays

Monday, November 4 AND

Monday, November 18

from 3 - 5 pm

Do you love LEGOs? Join us in the children’s area for the LEGO Challenge every other Monday! Each LEGO Challenge will have a theme, but free building is welcome! For ages 6-11.

Family Movie Matinee - Harold and the Purple Crayon

Friday, November 15 at 1 pm

Join us for a free showing of Harold and the Purple Crayon (rated PG).

Thanksgiving Crafts

November 18 - 27

Drop by our craft station in the children's area for 2 weeks of various Thanksgiving-thmed crafts and activities!

Teen Library Club

Returning Soon!

We're looking to start up our Teen Library Club again! Meet with other teens and create and run your own programs at the library. 6th-12th graders who are interested in joining should contact Makayla at youthservices@berlinlibrary.org.

Winnefox library users now have access to Kanopy Kids, a video streaming platform collection that features entertaining and educational films, TV series, and videos for kids! Kanopy Kids includes developmentally appropriate, age-based ratings, as well as additional parental controls. Enjoy storybook adaptions, film shorts, and PBS/BBC shows.

November is International Games Month!

The Berlin Public Library has a collection of over 100 tabletop games for all ages and interests. Checkout classics like Uno or Monopoly, or take home strategy games like Catan or Azul. Party games like Codenames or Chronology are perfect for the upcoming season of family gatherings!
