Regular Programs

Storytime: Every Wednesday at 10 am

Ages 3-6

Early Literacy Storytime:

First Friday of each month at 10 am

For babies and toddlers

Wednesday Evening Book Club:

Meets the third Wednesday of the month at 6 pm

Mystery Mondays Book Club:

Meets the last Monday of the month at 2 pm

Stitching Together Club:

Knitting/crocheting/needlework group that meets the last Tuesday of the month at 2 pm

8th Annual Quilt Show

Come view the quilts on display at our 8th Annual Quilt Show! This year's theme is "Take Flight." Vote on your favorite quilt in different categories from March 13 through March 18. We will be giving prizes for quilts in 3 categories: Bed Quilts, Wall Hangings, and Best "Take Flight" Quilt! Winners will be announced by March 21, but quilts will remain on display until March 24.

Adult Programs

How Can You Help the Pollinators Tuesday, March 14 at 6 pm

 

Cindy Boudry, Fond du Lac County Master Gardener will be giving a presentation on pollinators and will show you things you can do in your own yards to help. This program is sponsored by the Green Lake County Home & Community Education Club. Free and open to all!

Vintage Quilt Bed Turning

Thursday, March 16 at 6 pm

Allison Rainboth, quilt historian and national quilting judge, will present information on vintage quilts. Don't miss this informative event during the Berlin Public Library's 8th Annual Quilt Show! If you would like your vintage quilt included in the program, please call us!

Friday Matinee

Friday, March 24 at 1 pm

Join us for a free showing of A Man Called Otto (rated PG-13), starring Tom Hanks.

Friends of the Library Book Sale

Monday, March 13 beginning at 12 pm through Saturday, March 25

Browse and buy from a selection of used books, DVDs, and other media. All sales will be a free will offering; you pay what you think is fair. Book sale will be set up on the mezzanine and will be open during regular library hours.

Youth & Family Programs

Teen Library Club

Saturday, March 18 at 1pm

Meet with other teens and create and run your own programs at the library. 6th-12th graders who are interested in joining should contact Sam at skrasny@berlinlibrary.org

Super Spring Break Week!

Catapult Creator

Monday, March 20

Build your own catapult to see how far you can launch mini marshmallows!

*No registration required. Drop in anytime. *

Marshmallow Rockets by 4-H

Tuesday, March 21 at 10 am

 

Marshmallow Rockets is designed for youth ages in grades 5K-4, but any age may participate. During this program we will explore rockets, astronauts, and space exploration and each participant will build a model rocket out of marshmallows. The program will last 30-45 minutes. *Registration is Required*

Marshmallow Tower Contest

Wednesday, March 22

Build your own tower out of marshmallows and toothpicks. Whoever builds the tallest towers wins! *No registration required. Drop in Anytime.*

PJ Storytime

Thursday, March 23 at 6 pm

Join us for a story time where we will play awesome group games! Bring your own stuffed animal to help play! *Registration is required.*

Indoor Mini Golf

Friday, March 24

Play a fun miniature golf course set up in the children’s section! *No registration is required. Drop in anytime. *
