Ripon, WI – Welcome to an adventure-filled summer with the Ripon Public Library’s something-for-everyone summer lineup! Prizes, activities, performances, and programs are available to all ages for free.

READ FOR FUN & PRIZES! It takes 30 seconds to register at the library’s front desk, then every time you check out reading materials your participation is automatically logged by staff. Check out reading material 3 out of 4 weeks each month to be eligible for exciting prizes for kids, teens, and adults!

EXPLORE AREA LIBRARIES in person via the Winnefox “Library Explorer Passport Program.” It’s a great time to explore, learn, and play at the many public libraries across our area! Pick up your Passport Adventure Map and take it with you. The more Winnefox member libraries you visit, the more chances you earn to win a fun prize.

ATTEND FREE EVENTS from escape rooms to strolls, from musicians to magicians, there’s something for all ages and stages! Thanks to the Friends of the Library and other generous partners, programming is always free, and registration is not required unless noted.

WEDNESAY, JUNE 11 at 10 AM | V3NTO BRASS TRIO | ALL AGES

The dynamic V3NTO Brass Trio is on a mission to revolutionize brass trio music! They unearth hidden gems, craft fresh compositions, and ignite excitement through educational programs. They have won the prestigious Chicago Brass Festival Ensemble Competition, and their debut album, S.O.S., has captivated audiences, with its boundless energy and creativity.

Q&A + Cookies follow the performance! This family-friendly concert is sponsored by the Green Lake Festival of Music and is suitable for all ages.

WEDENSDAY, JUNE 11 at 6:00 PM | GAME NIGHT | ALL AGES

Try out some games from the library’s extensive collection! Whether you’re looking for deep strategy or lighthearted fun, we’ve got you covered. Library staff will be on hand to help teach new gamers. Play-to-win games will be up for grabs! (Event repeats July 16th.)

FRIDAY, JUNE 13 at 1:00 PM | MARK HAYWARD, YO-YO ENTERTAINER: COMEDY, TRICKS, AND YO-YOS!

Mark Hayward has been a variety arts performer since 1990. He is a World Yo-yo Champion, a member of a World Champion Juggling Team, and a Spin Top Champion. He’s traveled the world with a yo-yo on his finger (well, mostly in his pocket), and has made appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with James Corden, America’s Got Talent, and the NBC Nightly News (without committing a crime). Someday Mark hopes to perform for both the President and the King.

FRIDAY, JUNE 13 at 2:00 PM | SUMMER READING: EASY AS PIE! | PIE & ICE CREAM BUFFET + REGISTER FOR SUMMER PRIZE DRAWINGS

Following Mark’s zany Yo-Yo performance, stay to chill out with our pie and ice cream buffet including a variety of allergen-free options!  Grab some book lover’s bling, enjoy a bookish craft, and sign up to be entered into awesome prize drawings all summer long!

SATURDAY, JUNE 14 at 9 AM—NOON | ANNUAL CHILDREN’S FAIR at RIPON HIGH SCHOOL, 850 TIGER DRIVE: Sponsored by Ripon Noon Kiwanis, this free annual event focuses on connecting kids and families to community resources while serving up tons of fun! Ripon Noon Kiwanis provides goody bags to the first 200 kids (8 years and younger) to arrive, plus entry into drawings for valuable door prizes to all! Community partners and financial supporters include the Webster Foundation, Ripon Public Library, and the City of Ripon.

Wendy & DB, a Grammy-nominated, award-winning children’s music duo, will have you and your children singing, dancing, and jumping along with their original songs and upbeat lyrics encouraging imagination and exploration.

The Children’s Fair offers an abundance of activities for many ages and stages! Drop in to enjoy mini golf, a bouncy house, the Romper Room play area, yard games, Midwest Photo Party’s photo booth, City of Ripon community vehicle tours (fire truck, squad car, ambulance), and MORE!

Enjoy visiting with professionals focused on services to kids and families. From doctors to daycares, to preschools and assorted family services, learn about all our area has to offer. Stations offer fun activities for the kiddos too!
