Ready to reel in a new hobby? Learn 2 Fish With Us is hosting a clinic on Thursday, June 12, from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Mill Pond Terrace (or inside the Ballroom if it rains) at Town Square Community Center, 492 Hill St, Green Lake. This hands-on fishing clinic is a perfect introduction to the sport for kids ages 6 and up—with adults more than welcome to join in on the fun.
Led by professional angler Greg Karch and his team at Learn 2 Fish With Us, participants will learn essential fishing skills including casting, knot tying, and fish identification in a fun, interactive setting. If the weather cooperates, there’s even a chance to catch live fish right from the pond!
Each registered child will go home with a fully rigged fishing rod, a Learn 2 Fish t-shirt, and a fishing booklet—everything they need to keep casting long after the event ends.
The cost is just $5 per person and the program runs rain or shine.
Fishing is more than just a pastime—it’s a way to connect with the outdoors, learn patience, and enjoy time with family and friends. Town Square is proud to offer opportunities like these that make outdoor recreation fun, affordable, and accessible to the whole community.
