A 22-year-old Fond du Lac man was arrested following a short vehicle chase in the City of Fond du Lac early this morning. A Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputy tried to pull over a vehicle that was speeding on West Johnson Street near North Park Avenue. The pursuit ended after the suspect lost control of his vehicle striking a curb. His vehicle was disabled and after going over the curb came to rest on a lawn. The driver was taken into custody. He was taken to the Fond du Lac County Jail on a felony charge of fleeing/eluding, suspicion of operating while intoxicated and possession of drug paraphernalia. The chase began at approximately 1:30 am. It was four-tenths of a mile long.
