After having Thursday off the Brewers return to American Family Field tonight to host the Minnesota Twins. Chad Patrick (2-3, 3.19 ERA) will start for Milwaukee with the first pitch slated for 7:10.
There was just one game in the NL Central Thursday as the Reds beat the White Sox 7-1. The Cubs lead the Cardinals by a game, the Brewers are four games out, the Reds 4 ½ and the Pirates are 10 games behind.
In the Midwest League Thursday rain forced the postponement of the Wisconsin-Beloit game. The game will be made up today as part of a doubleheader.
In the NBA Western Conference semifinals Thursday night the Nuggets won at home over Oklahoma City, 119 to 107, to force a seventh and deciding game in Oklahoma City on Sunday.
For the third year in a row UW Oshkosh softball hosting regionals of the NCAA Championships, marking their 6th tournament appearance in 8 seasons. On Thursday the Titan women beat Concordia University of Wisconsin 6-0.
UW Oshkosh will play UW-Stevens Point in the NCAA Division III Championship Regional on Friday at 11:00 after Stevens Point beat Central College 3-0.
The UW-Oshkosh baseball team plays in the NCAA Division III Regional this morning against the University of Chicago, hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota. First pitch is at 10am.
