5/14/25 Fire Destroys Town of Lamartine Home

No one was harmed during a garage and house fire at N5481 Fairview Road in Fond du Lac County’s Town of Lamartine yesterday morning. The homeowner called 911 at 10:37 am to report his garage fully engulfed in flames. When deputies and Lamartine firefighters arrived flames were coming from the attached garage and smoke from the roof line of the home. The homeowner, Joseph Bozich, was found on the lawn unharmed. No one was in the residence. He was able to secure his dog in a nearby vehicle. The residence is considered a total loss. The cause is being investigated by the Sheriff’s Office. Lamartine Fire Department was assisted by 12 different fire agencies. The American Red Cross also responded to the scene.
