5/10/25 Memory Cafe Offered Monthly at Town Square

10 May 2025 News

GREEN LAKE, WI, — The Green Lake County Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) is bringing Memory Cafés to Town Square Community Center, offering meaningful connection and support for individuals experiencing memory loss and their caregivers. These free gatherings will be held at 10 a.m. on the third Thursday of every month at Town Square, located at 492 Hill Street in downtown Green Lake.

Memory Cafés are safe, welcoming spaces where people living with memory changes, along with their care partners, can relax, socialize, and enjoy engaging activities in a no-pressure environment. Whether it’s music, games, storytelling, or simply sharing a laugh, each Café is designed to uplift and support everyone who attends.

“At Town Square, we’re proud to partner with the ADRC to provide this valuable resource to our community,” said Jina Quade, Program Coordinator at Town Square. “Memory Cafés are about people, not diagnoses—and everyone is welcome.”

What to Expect at a Memory Café:

  • Friendly conversation with others who share similar experiences

  • Interactive activities like music, reminiscing, and games

  • A relaxed setting for caregivers and their loved ones

  • Access to helpful information and support from ADRC staff

There’s no need for a diagnosis to attend—just come as you are and enjoy a morning of connection and care.
