Wisconsin Dells Police say one of the two missing boaters on the Wisconsin River was located and recovered at noon Friday. A Wisconsin DNR aircraft that was onsite and overhead assisting in the search, located a submerged item. A search boat responded to the area, and located the missing individual, submerged and deceased. The search for the second missing boater continues as the river flow and currents dictate. Just before 4:30 Thursday afternoon police received a report about a boat with three people in it that had capsized south of Kilbourn Dam. One person was able to swim back to shore. The two others disappeared under the water, near where the boat capsized.
