4/28/25 Fatal UTV Accident in Waupaca County

Waupaca County Sheriff’s officials say one person was killed in a UTV crash on Mud Lake Road north of Nitke Road in the Town of Harrison early this morning. The Sheriff’s Office got a report about the crash just before 12:30 am. When deputies arrived at the scene of the accident, they found the UTV in a ditch and a male outside of it. Life-saving measures were performed; however, the victim died at the scene. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iola Area Ambulance, Iola Fire Department, Northwest First Responders, DNR, and the Waupaca County Medical Examiner. The crash remains under investigation.
