
3/2/25 Fatal Accident in Fond du Lac County

Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials tell us a 20-year-old Menomonee Falls woman was killed in a collision between a passenger vehicle and a commercial straight truck early Saturday morning. Multiple 911 calls reported the crash at 1:46 am in the area of State Highway 26 near Neitman Road in the Town of Waupun. Deputies responded to the scene. The preliminary investigation revealed the passenger vehicle was heading south on State Highway 26 and crossed over the centerline striking the northbound straight truck head-on. The passenger car was unable to maintain its lane prior to the crash. The driver and sole occupant of the passenger vehicle, Alexa Dunn died at the scene. The truck driver, 64-year-old Michael May of Randolph was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, was treated and released. Agencies assisting at the scene included Waupun Police, the State Patrol, Waupun Fire Department, Lifestar Emergency Medical Service, and the Fond du Lac County Highway Department. A portion of State Highway 26 was closed for about four hours.
