3/16/25 Human Skeletal Remains Found in Waushara County

The Waushara County Sheriff’s Dispatch Center received a call at 5:19 Thursday afternoon about human skeletal remains found in the area of County Road EE between Blackhawk Avenue and 26th Court in the Town of Leon. Sheriff Wally Zuehlke says the Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation with assistance from the Wisconsin Department of Justice-Division of Criminal Investigation, the State Patrol, State Crime Lab, and the Waushara County Medical Examiner’s Office to identify the remains.
