3/13/25 Stefanie Meeker is Running for the Ripon School Board

Ripon School Board candidate Stefanie Meeker says soon she and her husband will be empty nesters and serving on the board would be her way of giving back to the community. Several generations of their family are products of the school district, including the two of them, and their four kids-two of whom are adults and their younger children are high school seniors. She works for Green Lake County as a deputy treasurer. Her husband works for Alliance Laundry Systems. Meeker says the school district’s staff, teachers and leaders are doing an incredible job. She says the district is fiscally responsible and students do well on state testing. One area she would like to see more time spent on is in the area of mental health awareness. The district is about to see a change at the top with the retirement of Superintendent Mary Whitrock. Meeker says it’s a key position and Whitrock has been very visible in her role and that should continue to be the case with the next superintendent. Meeker is one of four candidates running for three seats on the school board.
