
3/13/25 Appleton Woman Arrested Following High-Speed Pursuit in FDL County

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office became involved in a high-speed pursuit with a 25-year-old Appleton woman who was allegedly speeding over 100 miles an hour and weaving across Interstate 41 southbound lanes. At 3:30 this morning the State Patrol made the Sheriff’s Communications Center aware of the situation and Sheriff’s deputies set up on I-41 near the Fond du Lac and Winnebago County Line. A deputy spotted the suspect vehicle going 110 miles an hour and weaving in and out of traffic. The vehicle increased its speed to 120 miles an hour when the deputy activated lights and sirens. The car struck tire deflation devices and eventually stopped on I-41 at County Highway OO after three tires went flat. The woman was taken into custody for felony fleeing and eluding and suspicion of operating while impaired. She was taken to the County Jail. No one was hurt during the pursuit in Fond du Lac County which covered 6.6 miles. The State Patrol, North Fond du Lac and Fond du Lac Police assisted in the pursuit.
