Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 37 points and the Memphis Grizzlies continued their recent mastery of Milwaukee with a 132-119 victory over the Bucks on Sunday night.
Memphis has won its last seven meetings with the Bucks, who last beat the Grizzlies 126-114 in Milwaukee on Jan. 19, 2022. The Grizzlies won this one without start guard Morant, who missed a second straight game due to a sore right shoulder.
Jackson briefly went to the locker room late in the first quarter after taking an inadvertent elbow to the face from Ryan Rollins on the Bucks guard’s drive attempt. Jackson returned at the start of the second period and shot 7 of 13 from 3-point range.
Milwaukee lost for the fourth time in five games despite getting 30 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists from Giannis Antetokounmpo. Khris Middleton added 20 points.
Santi Aldama scored 23 points and Desmond Bane added 22 for the Grizzlies, who have won eight of nine. Zach Edey had 14 points and 11 rebounds. Scotty Pippen Jr. had 9 points, 10 assists and five rebounds.
The Bucks go back on the road Monday night to visit the Western Conference-leading Oklahoma City Thunder, Tipoff is at 7:00.

One week before the AFC’s Kansas City Chiefs attempt a Super Bowl three-peat, the NFC completed a three-peat of its own in the 2025 Pro Bowl Games, topping the AFC 76-63 after the completion of all events, including a 56-50 win in Sunday’s flag football game.
The NFC has won all three years in the flag football format that began with the February 2023 event.
On Sunday, Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff — who started the game — won offensive MVP after completing 10 of 11 pass attempts for 126 yards and three touchdowns, getting the NFC off to a fast start.

Minnesota Vikings cornerback Bryan Murphy Jr.., playing in his first Pro Bowl, was named defensive MVP after he picked off New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye and scored on an 8-yard return.

Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy shot a 6-under-par 66 on Sunday on the way to winning his first PGA Tour start of the year, capturing the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in Pebble Beach, Calif.

McIlroy, buoyed by an eagle late in the round, secured the title at 21-under 267 for a two-stroke victory at Pebble Beach Golf Links.

It’s McIlroy’s 27th victory on the PGA Tour and a good start to 2025 after he won twice last year.

Ireland’s Shane Lowry birdied the last hole for a 68 and a four-round total of 19 under to take second place. Lucas Glover (67) and England’s Justin Rose (68) shared third place at 18 under.

Russell Henley (67) and Australia’s Cam Davis (69) tied for fifth place at 17 under, while South Korea’s Tom Kim (70) and third-round leader Sepp Straka of Austria (72) were seventh at 16 under.

John Tonje had 27 points and 17th-ranked Wisconsin beat Northwestern 75-69 on Saturday.
Down 52-50, the Badgers (17-5, 7-4 Big Ten) went on a 14-3 run just after the halfway point of the second half to take the lead for good. Reserve Carter Gilmore scored seven points during the decisive run and finished with 15 and seven rebounds. The Wildcats were just 1 for 6 from the floor during the spurt.
The Badgers had lost two of three after a seven-game winning streak.
Jalen Leach had 23 points and seven assists for Northwestern (12-10, 3-8), which found out Saturday that second-leading scorer Brooks Barnhizer is out for the season with a foot injury.

Barnhizer was scratched before the game, and coach Chris Collins announced afterward he requires surgery.
Nick Martinelli added 15 points and Ty Berry had 14 for the Wildcats, who have lost three straight and seven of nine.
Wisconsin had just one second-half turnover after giving up the ball nine times in the opening 20 minutes.
Wisconsin hosts Indiana on Tuesday night.

Solo Ball scored a career-high 25 points while shooting 7 of 9 from 3-point range as No. 25 UConn never trailed in a 77-69 victory over No. 9 Marquette on Saturday night.
Ball’s seven 3-pointers matched a career high.
The loss dropped Marquette (18-4, 9-2) a game behind No. 15 St. John’s in the Big East standings. St. John’s edged Providence 68-66 earlier Saturday.
Alex Karaban had 15 points and Samson Johnson added 13 for UConn (16-6,8-3), which led by as many as 22 in the first half and answered every Marquette comeback attempt the rest of the way.
Kam Jones scored 22, Chase Ross 19 and David Joplin 13 for Marquette.

This win assures UConn will remain in the Top 25. Marquette figures to drop out of the top 10.

The Wisconsin Herd lost to the Salt Lake City Stars 118-105 Saturday night at the Oshkosh Arena.
Milwaukee Bucks two-way player Stanely Umude led the Herd with 21 points off the bench while Henry Ellenson followed with 15 points. Assignment player Chris Livingston added a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds.
The top scorer for the Salt Lake City Stars was Elijah Harkless with 33 points followed by Keshawn Justice and Isaiah Thomas with 18 points apiece. Oscar Tshiebwe posted a double-double with 10 points and 25 rebounds.
The Herd will hit the road to take on the Indiana Mad Ants on Monday, Feb. 3 with tip set for 5:00 P.M. CST.

Ripon College lost at Cornell College 64-58 Saturday. KolbyWilliams led the Red Hawks with 14 points, Cade Tackmeyer had 13 and C.J. Brown had 10. Jayden Meeker led Cornell with 19.
Ripon drops to 8-11 and 5-5 in the conference.
The Ripon College women’s basketball team defeated Cornell College 73-47 Saturday. Halle Van Horn led the Red Hawks with 15 points and Anna Fahrney added 13. Ripon improves to 15-4 and 9-1 in the Midwest Conference.

The Wisconsin Herd, beat the Delaware Blue Coats 115-106 Friday night at the Oshkosh Areana.
Henry Ellenson piloted the Herd with a double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds while James Akinjo followed with 23 points. Milwaukee Bucks assignment player Tyler Smith added a double-double with 13 points and 16 rebounds off the bench.
The top scorers for the Delaware Blue Coats were Jaylen Martin with 31 points and Judah Mintz with 20 points.
