Wisconsin is back in action tonight as the Badgers play at Illinois. The #11 Badgers are 20-5 overall and 10-4 in the Big Ten. Tipoff is at 7:30.

In the Big East #16 Marquette hosts Seton Hall tonight with the tipoff at 8:00.

Auburn remains #1 in the latest AP top 25 men’s basketball rankings. Florida is #2, followed by Duke, Alabama and Houston. Tennessee comes in at #6, followed by Texas A&M, Iowa State, Texas Tech and St. John’s to round out the top ten.

Wisconsin is ranked 11th and Marquette #16.

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are getting ready for their upcoming season by seeking game day team members.

The team is currently accepting applications for part-time, seasonal, and game day positions at Marian University’s Herr-Baker Field.

Positions include: Ushers, security, promo crew, video production crew, scoreboard, kids’ zone games, retail store, bartenders and cook/wait staff.

The Dock Spiders will begin their ninth season of Northwoods League play during the spring of 2025. Information about ticket packages is currently available online or by calling the ticket office at (920) 907-9833. Visit the Dock Spiders ballpark Box Office and Team Store during normal business hours: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The 27th member will be added to the Packers Fan Hall of Fame on Monday.

The award showcases devout and passionate fans of the green and gold.

This year a number of nominees from our area include Regan Bucholz from Bonduel, Lori Coonen of Combined Locks, and Ken Groholski from Manawa.

Voting for the award has ended, but you can still read the stories for all of the nominees on the Packers website.

The winner will have their name recognized in the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame at Lambeau Field and will receive a number of Packers-related prizes.
