A multi-award-winning guitarist, singer, songwriter, producer, and bandleader, Schofield’s 30-year career—20 of them as a solo artist—cements his status as one of the most distinctive and influential guitarists of his generation. With performances in thirty countries, Schofield has earned widespread acclaim, including three “British Blues Guitarist of the Year” awards, “British Blues Album of the Year,” and induction into the “British Blues Awards Hall of Fame.” Recognized as one of the “Top Ten British Blues Guitarists of All Time” by Guitar & Bass magazine, alongside legends like Eric Clapton and Peter Green, he has also received accolades like Mojo Magazine’s “Blues Album of the Year.” On stage, Schofield shines. Whether headlining festivals like Montreal and North Sea Jazz or packing iconic venues like New York’s Iridium and London’s 100 Club, his ability to connect deeply with audiences is unforgettable. With emotive vocals, masterful guitar work, and improvisational brilliance, his live performances bring his innovative original compositions to life. A celebrated music educator, Schofield released the highly acclaimed TrueFire instructional series Blues Speak in 2018. As a clinician, he has taught aspiring musicians worldwide, from Tokyo to Texas and beyond.

Sponsors for the show include the Victor F. Braun Foundation, Mike and Aileen Ellis, and Adams Rib.
