1/24/25 Fatal Accident in Berlin

Berlin Police say a 65-year-old man struck by a pickup truck in the city Thursday afternoon died of his injuries. Police say a 20-year-old man driving the truck was turning onto Huron Street and struck the older man who was in a crosswalk. The injured man was taken to ThedaCare Berlin Hospital where he died. The pickup truck driver was not hurt. Alcohol or drugs were not believed to be factors in the accident. Huron Street was closed for about three hours. Police were assisted by the State Patrol, Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Berlin EMS and Expert towing. Police were dispatched to the scene at 2:11 pm.
