Police in Madison last night released the identity of the shooter at a private Christian school that left two dead and six others injured late Monday morning. They say 15-year-old Natalie Rupnow was a student at Abundant Life Christian School. They do not know the motive for the shootings. A teenage student and teacher were killed. Six others were injured including one teacher and five students. Two of the victims were released from the hospital, two were reported in stable condition and two students were in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. Police Chief Shon Barnes says a second-grader called 911 about the shootings just before 11 am. Officials believe Rupnow opened fire with a handgun during a study hall. Law enforcement declared her down at 11:05 am. Evidence suggests she died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Abundant Life Christian School has about 390 students.
