12/5/24 Fatal Accident Near Ripon

The State Patrol tells us a 59-year-old Waupun man was killed when his van collided with a semi-tractor trailer truck on State Highway 26 at Hickory Road near Ripon this morning. The semi-driver, a 29-year-old man, was heading north when he crossed over the centerline and struck the southbound van. The Waupun man died at the scene. The accident happened at 3:30 am. Assisting agencies included the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, Town of Ripon Police, Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office, and Fond du Lac and Winnebago County Highway Departments.
