One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Outagamie County on Sunday.

The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office responded to County Trunk GG near Nackers Road in the Town of Buchanan at around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday for a report of a person who had been involved in a car crash and then walked to a nearby home.

At the home, deputies met with a 26-year-old man from Brillion who had suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital. Deputies investigated and found that the crash took place at County Trunk Z and Clune Road. The initial investigation revealed that the man was traveling east on County Trunk Z when his car left the road, entered a ditch, and rolled over multiple times into a field.

Alcohol, speed, and poor weather conditions are all believed to be factors in the crash. The investigation is still ongoing.

The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Kaukauna Police Department, Buchanan Fire & First Responders, Combined Locks Fire & First Responders, and Gold Cross Ambulance.

GREENVILLE MAN ARRESTED

A Greenville man was arrested late Saturday night for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. It is his 4th offense.

63-year-old Gary Kelly was initially pulled over around 10:30 p.m. by the Wisconsin State Patrol Fond du Lac Post for a seat belt violation. During the stop the trooper observed signs of impairment.

A field sobriety test was conducted and Kelly was arrested and charged with OWI, 4th offense as well as two counts of felony bail jumping. He was booked into Outagamie County Jail.

The Wisconsin State Patrol stayed busy Saturday night, arresting two separate Outagamie County drivers on their fourth OWI offenses.

WISCONSIN STATE PATROL ARRESTED TWO MEN

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, two men from Outagamie County were arrested for Operating While under the Influence on December 28.

The first arrest was made around 7 p.m. when a trooper pulled over 37-year-old David Rojas for speeding and reportedly noticed signs of impairment.

Rojas, who is from Menasha, failed field sobriety tests and was arrested and charged with his 4th Offense OWI.

The second arrest came around 10:30 p.m. when 63-year-old Gary Patrick Kelly was stopped due to a seat belt violation.

Kelly, who is from Greenville, also reportedly failed field sobriety tests, leading to his 4th Offense OWI arrest. Kelly was also arrested on two counts of felony bail jumping.

Both were booked into the Outagamie County Jail. No additional information was provided.

WISCONSIN MAN HAS BEEN ARRESTED IN KENTUCKY

A Wisconsin man has been arrested in Kentucky, accused of shooting and killing a 31-year-old woman and attempting to kill another.

Police say 23-year-old Roosevelt Davis III admitted to robbing a bank in Wisconsin and using the money to buy two guns, before driving to Kentucky with the intention of killing the victims.

Davis fired ten rounds into the Springfield home, killing 31-year-old Kasheda Burch and injuring a 52-year-old woman who was also inside.

Court documents show Burch was arrested for attempting to murder Davis in October. Those same documents show she posted bail just days before her death.

CRAWFORD COUNTY SHERIFF ARRESTS 45-YEAR OLD MAN

A 45-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 18 after a County Sheriff’s officer in western Wisconsin conducted a traffic stop.

According to a release from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, an officer initiated a traffic stop in Prairie Du Chien. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 45-year-old Garrett Nundahl from Richland Center, Wisconsin.

Prairie Du Chien K-9 Phoenix assisted and detected the presence of at least one illegal and controlled substance in the vehicle. A subsequent search revealed the following drugs in the vehicle:

  • Methamphetamine
  • LSD
  • Marijuana
  • Additional drug paraphernalia

It was also determined that Nundahl was driving a stolen vehicle. He was arrested and taken to the Crawford County Jail on the following charges:

  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Possession of LSD
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Theft
  • Violating probation
