GREEN LAKE, WI, — Things will be colorful and wacky on Saturday, November 30, at the November Ugly Sweater Bingo at Town Square Community Center in Green Lake. Attendees are encouraged to wear their festive, ugly holiday sweaters as we celebrate the holiday season. Town Square is located at 492 Hill Street, Green Lake.
The evening offers 13 games, speedy bingo, and a progressive blackout featuring a jackpot of $1.347.50 plus half of the night’s sales if bingo is called in 51 numbers or less. If there is no winner after 51 numbers, there is a $200 concession prize. The night also features a 50/50 raffle, door prizes, and plenty of family fun.
“There have been some very interesting sweaters over the years,” said Bingo volunteer Linda Burkart. “It’s always so fun to see what everyone wears.”
Concessions will be available for purchase, including Sheboygan hot dogs, chips, beer, and wine. Doors and concessions open at 5:00 p.m., card sales begin at 5:30 p.m., and games start at 6:30 p.m. Carry-ins are prohibited. Attendees are highly encouraged to arrive early to find their preferred seats before the games begin. Minors are welcome to play bingo in Wisconsin but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Bingo takes place at Town Square on the last Saturday of every month. Proceeds from the bingo games support Town Square, an award-winning community center located in the historic county courthouse buildings in the heart of downtown Green Lake.
