10/21/24 Congressman Grothman Seeking Sixth Term

21 October 2024 News

Congressman Glenn Grothman is seeking a sixth term in office this fall. The Republican from Glenbeulah says there are still things he would like to see get accomplished. He notes he originally ran on welfare reform and some improvements have been made, but he says there are too many benefits available that keep people from getting married. He notes he’s pro-life and believes green energy puts businesses at a disadvantage. He says the quality of air and water has improved over the years. He says under President Biden the number of illegal immigrants crossing our southern borders has increased tenfold, but Grothman is particularly concerned about the number of unaccompanied minors entering the country. He also feels the Biden Administration has been doing too much to promote transgenderism. Grothman also says there is too much government hiring and contracting going on based on race. Democrat John Zarbano of Oshkosh is challenging him in the November 5th election.
