10/8/24 Ripon Receiving Nearly $2 Million Grant for Library Renovation

Officials in Ripon announced Monday that the Ripon Public Library has been awarded just under $2 million from the state’s Department of Administration’s Flexible Facilities Program. The $1,985,000 grant will support the library renovation project. The funding marks a significant milestone for the library. Yesterday Governor Tony Evers and state officials announced $115 million in grants to 35 local and tribal communities for new construction and renovations of public libraries and community centers. Among those 35 cities and communities; Reeseville is receiving just over $250,000 for expansion of its library, Waupaca is receiving $4.1 million for renovation of its community center, and Wautoma is getting $4.2 million for construction of a new YMCA.
